Finally bit the bullet and ordered a new microphone and whatnot. Next purchase will be a camcorder (or camera) to use with @elgatogaming camlink. Upgrading stream quality. YAY.

I use a canon t3i with a Rokinon Cine T1.5 24mm wide angle full frame lens. The lens is much more important than the body. I consulted for elgato on their camlink product, but I still use SparkoCam instead bc it has more features. to the people mentioning camera overheating
-
my camera never overheats - I have it plugged in via a adapter. camlink is purely hardware while SparkoCam is software, there are pros and cons to both. I still prefer my SparkoCam method

If I may jump in, I know I'm not asked, but look at the Panasonic LUMIX G7 (or G70 depending on geolocation). Been using it for many months with a Cam Link (thanks,
@elgatogaming ) and it's absolutely solid. Doesn't overheat either.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
