I totally feel you, I’ve always felt the same way, but I honestly can say that I have always admired your smile and am always so jealous of your teeth
But I know what it’s like to be self conscious about something and want to change it, so do your thang girl!
The amount of love and understanding in this replies fills my heart <3
I relate to everything you said so much. My girlfriend tells me that my teeth are fine but I deliberately don't smile much because of them... For my own inner peace, I'd like them fixed. I feel you.
Mine bother(ed?) me a lot too, it was the one thing that got under my skin
got crowns recently and it's soo much better but I want another one!
Best decision I ever made was to get mine fixed- I had a "snaggletooth", and I was ALWAYS aware of it. Others said it was fine & didn't get the fuss - I was ACUTELY aware of it. I always smiled with my mouth shut, which sucked, I'd feel very self conscious & "judged."
I had the rail-braces put on and my snaggletooth was gone after 9 months. YEARS of beating myself up for it, fixed under one year :D Still have a retainer for life, but easily the best thing I've done for myself. If you're insecure about it, definitely make the jump! No regrets!
