Most likely their camera was already defective xD Capturing the live view with SparkoCam (as in my setup & guide) creates less heat than if
It's not only the problem with potential overheating, but also distortion, depending on your lense the camera might need to be quite far -

Back not to distort your image. Which I definitely don't want to deal with.

yeah that doesnt happen at all with this setup & if someone told you that they're talking out of their ass. My + others ' experience = proof
