whatever you do, format and install win10 from scratch, upgrading from old systems brings old files that can create issues

I'd strongly suggest to just reformat your computer. Probably less effort to start over from scratch than to deal with this again.

Yeah make sure you do a clean installation of Windows 10. Upgrading has its own problems.
