Do you take breaks to stretch and move around?

Not really honestly lmao

Could be strain from bad posture? Leaning down close to your mirror/cam while you're doing makeup for hours on end is probably putting strain on your lower back. Also are your shoulders relaxed or are you tensed up?
-
I don't mean you have bad posture btw! I mean that leaning close while applying makeup isn't "good posture" and when you do your full makeup art it can take hours!

I watch Kay paint and noticed she always makes sure to take a 5 min break every hour or two. That’s prob really important :3

I used to suffer from the same (especially since the paints take so damn long
). Forcing myself to take break every 2-4hrs to stretch and walk around helped, as well as starting to work out, focusing on my core and back!
Hope this helps gal, I know this feeling too well -
Oh also being aware of the shoes you wear and the floor. Using a yoga mat can help or having shoes with a bit of a bounce in the sole (like not too rigid)

This is a huge reason I can't do it as often. I found out I have scoliosis and my lower back my discs have compressed so my nerves get trapped I have to see a chiropractor every 3 weeks to feel slightly normal

I would say stretching before during etc helps a lot and being aware of how I hold myself. Also I used to stand on a rubber mat
