Not worth killing your cat over a plant. There are many many pet safe plants tho, Talk to your local nursery (this may be a US term, Place that sells plants), they will know pet safe ones :)

I wasn't suggesting it was worth it! I was just curious what other pet owners do.

We put them on a shelf that the pets can't reach, but eventually we ended up buying plants that are pet safe. No matter how pretty the plants are, it's not worth the risk!
-
Yep. So far I only have pet safe ones. Just wondering what others do.

Honestly, wouldn't even chance it with the toxic ones, no matter how disciplined, there is a chance they can ingest/nibble on them, cat grass is great!, Catit do great little pod areas for it (we have 2 in rotation). -and Spider plants lots of spider plants!

I have a spider plant too!

We use a water spray and make sure it’s on a mist and not a jet! Usually just the sound of us picking up the bottle makes them stop.
-
Gotcha! Where do you get your plants?

There are lists online for toxic plants for cats, but even if your cat is disciplined never keep them in your home. You can get your cat, specifically cat grass and its good for them and they will chew on that rather than your plants.

They chew plants to help with digestive issues. It helps especially long haired cats. So if she has her own grass she will leave your plants alone.
