also the more people commenting the article the bigger the chance of people reading it and educating themselves. Pretty sure he tells her that IRL as well 
He could, and he did tell me in person. The article is on social media, and so he comments publicly so his and my audience know he stands in solidarity with me. I find it absurd that you find fault in two public figures posting their opinions/feelings online.
