Always struggled to justify posting something on #InternationalComingOutDay due to always lacking a firm sense of what I am. Feels hard to join in when you’ve spent a decade in continuing confusion over your sexuality, and your gender is only somewhat less mysterious to you (1/3)

The reality is that ‘I don’t know what I am’ is a kind of coming out too, though, as you are still identifying yourself as somehow ‘other’ even if the specifics aren’t quite clear to you yet. Lacking the proper words doesn’t mean you’re excluded from this day (2/3)

So, for those who don’t know what label fits them, and feel some disconnect with this day as a result, here’s a secret; you don’t have to know who you are or what you are. As long as you’re seeking happiness and contentment everything else will fall in to place (3/3)
