I don't agree with that one tbh.... It's never wrong to get a cat from a good breeder with a pedigree! She did everything right! And if you prefer to adopt, then you're free to do so! But.... Don't blame others for having a healthy young pedigreed pet from a local loving breeder!

Since when are you able to tell that a cat is healthy without knowing the pedigree? Without testing the parents and grandparents for inheritable things? It's not a 'designer cat'! It's a breed!

Hannah, if you don't mind removing yourself from my social media. I chose a particular breed because of its nature and characteristics. I chose a reputable breeder for a guarantee of its background and medical history. I don't need to be shamed by a person who doesn't know me.

When I have a larger home, I would love to adopt many cats.
but right now I don't regret spending my money to buy a healthy and happy cat and a promise to give it a loving, forever home.
