That point is fair, I just think neither should have been banned for it.
Cats falling =/= being thrown. In a situation where a cat jumps, it can calculate how to land correctly. Being thrown isn't the same. That being said, I do think that feeding an animal vodka is cruel.

It’s not just about landing on it’s feet either, which, as Sophia pointed out, is not guaranteed. Do you see how she grabs it? Has someone ever grabbed you and violently yanked on you? This must have hurt... poor cat.
