In case it seems like I'm going too hard, I don't like this sentiment at all because it's basically someone giving advice for something they have never had to deal with. When he gets to the above 1000 viewer threshold, he might experience actual chat toxicity.
As always some1 need to bring gender to something totally not related, he is saying "Follower mode" is not as effective than "Email verification" Can some1 comment WHY Email verification is not better? that was his point.
It is a preventative measure so people can't make millions of accounts to keep harassing ya.

That's fair enough, I didn't mean there isn't ANY toxicity, but it's more difficult to deal with, but you're right! It sucks that anyone has to deal with that tbh.

I am sure you get your fair share to be honest. It's definitely one of my main pet peeves, being told how best to do my job by someone who has never done my job.
I had someone go off at me saying I wasn't inclusive etc then I showed them screenshots of what I'd been dealing with for that month and they apologised. You next know why someone has follower or even sub mode on. It's not something I love to do but if it keeps my stream chill.
The fact people have the audacity to tell you that infuriates me. Glad it was resolved.
