Oh, so all the references of how they're in Britain and British wasn't supposed to be in reference to it being a British school?

Don't get me wrong, the show is fine. I just can't relate to it personally because it feels very detached from what school is actually like. The show is fine tho, bit cringe but not bad :)

Yeah, I watched it, too, and it felt like a weird mix of an American high school, an English school and an 80s US school with somehow modern technology. It thoroughly confused me, where it is supposed to act.

Yuuuup, but school 100% wasn't that open about sex in the 80s lel

I liked it anyway. The message is cool and sex-positive.

Sex positive is great, but terrible representation of the UK. It literally looked like a school in the US that doesn't actually exist.

It actually took me THREE episodes to realize it was supposed to be in the UK. It seemed so American that my brain must have drowned out the accents so it would seem logical.
Still quite liked it though.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I agree. As I remember it was barely talked about unless we put a rubber in a cucumber and then it stopped there.
