Is it really needed at £199, that seems excessive when there are cheaper ring lights out there can use usb and I have a switch right in front of me to turn it on ... ?

Are your ring lights wirelessly controlled with variable temperature/brightness via your PC and other streaming peripherals? Is your ring light low power consumption? Does it mount to your desk taking minimal space? Does it stay cool for long periods of time? Probs not.
