Had them for years.. it's when you have to get, I don't even know if they xall it this anymore, the key.. or headgear to push your teeth back. Thats no fun. Get lots of anbesol or like teeth numbing crap. Your fave will hate you for the first 2 weeks-month
Oh ye I know the ropes. I had braces for 5 years in my teenage years.

Thats when I had them. I didnt want to have them as I got older, but its still looking like I'll need them again. Or at least one of those invisalign mouthguard things. Getting implants changed where my teeth sat over the years
