What was the point of removal? Did they replace it with anything? So let's say I'd like to go out shopping today and I'd like to IRL that, I can't do it anymore via twitch?

It's broken into sub categories now, but I think personally that damages discover-ability. IRL was a really saturated section, yes, but it also enabled more eyes to discover all kinds of content they wouldn't otherwise know about/search for.

Yeah that's fair. With all IRL-ers combined, the category had decent viewership to stay on the first screen, you didn't have to scroll down usually to find it. I kinda like this new concept tho, I can specifically look for the IRL category I want. IRL is a pretty big game :)

They could do the same if they had tags or filters. Imagine this, IRL section where people could add a sub-category that people could choose to filter on or off. If someone hates ASMR, they could untick a box to hide all the ASMR tagged streams, but still be open to view---
