Telling someone that their natural beauty is enough, isn’t a compliment?

Sigh, implying someone is only wearing makeup because they're insecure about their natural appearance is not a compliment. Telling someone who obviously has a passion and love for makeup that they shouldn't be wearing it isn't a compliment.

'You are naturally beautiful' is indeed a compliment. I just don't want to be continually told what is best for me by people who don't even know me. Why is that so hard to swallow?

Lol. Why can’t you just take it as a compliment? I feel as if that’s the harder pill to swallow here. If it was a girl that said it, would it be as offensive?

ORRRR, you could just learn how to compliment somebody properly and stop trying to make people accept comments they don't like? Also, gender makes no difference, I'd have the same reply if a woman said it too.

As I said, I am sick of being told continually by random people what is best for ME when they don't even know me, and no, I don't have to just sit down and accept it if I don't like it.

Jeez. Give over man, you can't speak on behalf of all men, you don't know the purpose of comments made. Everytime I do my makeup on stream, I receive this comment hundreds of times and quite frankly I am fed up of hearing that I should stop wearing makeup cause randos think so.

Stop pushing this crap onto me. I don't feel complimented, ergo, not a compliment. It's a comment that requires me to meet a criteria to be complimenting, therefore when I am not meeting that criteria, it's belittling. I'm glad you have good intentions if you say this comment...

But I am pretty sure this can all be resolved by simply putting it 'Your natural face is beautiful' not 'you shouldn't wear all that makeup because you're better without it'.

But before I leave this along..saying that you shouldn’t, vs implying it’s not needed is totally different.
