So true tho. Some guy came in the other day like.. Oh djarii, I'm in a good mood, here's a compliment.. Then proceeded to tell me how I looked better without makeup. I rolled my eyes so hard they nearly fell out of my head.

I hate this so much. And then people are like “oh, so I can’t compliment now” and trying to explain there’s a MASSIVE difference with “you look nice” and “you look better without so much makeup”. One is a compliment, one is a backhanded comment. Grinds my gears.
