That's not what I meant. Moreso that if I intended on talking with someone with a dating intention I would first look. Then make it clear. I don't hide my intentions, if it's not wanted I'll step away.

I mean it should be common knowledge that guys udually choose initiation based on looks. They would do the same in a bar or swiping on Tinder. That shouldn't be a surprise.
Establishing intention to date someone and deciding a person fits your personal taste in women/men is not the same. I can look at someone and think they're my type aesthetically, but I don't decide to try and date them based upon that..
Naturally, because I look at a person from afar and say HEY I WANT TO DATE U REGARDLESS OF PERSONALITY. 
I never got that either. I can see how if you're gonna talk to somebody you don't know IRL you find attractive, sure. But how am I supposed to know I want to date someone I've never even spoken to? You never know, they might like the Star Wars prequel or something.
Well no... If it seemed like a mutual feeling over the course of several chats I'd ask if that'd be of interest. If not then it's just a friendship which is fine, I'm not like expecting anything. By several chats I don't mean just one time talking I mean like over days lol
