Treadmills are boring to me, I prefer trail running. There are some great local options down in OC for it - I am curious what's around your way. Might be a little further drives, but I bet there trails near the mountains around!

I prefer trail running too. But tuere is no such thing in north hollywood and I do not have a car or a driverse license and only have about 2h per day free in my schedule to do something for myself so...close by gym is the only real option I got :(
