Why do people create a fake Twitter account? Is it because they want to act hard but they know in real life they're afraid of their own shadow? Everyone knows it.

Why do folks choose to write silly stuff like "fake Twitter account" etc. instead of addressing the substance of a remark? Could it be they cannot find a way to defend what is indefensible but must spout off anyway?
