If you see human suffering & you think this is not so important because "it's not yet Auschwitz"…

Then, think again.
We commemorate and educate about the tragic history of Auschwitz as we believe it should inspire people today to build a better & a more responsible world.

Tons of GOP senators are up in 2020, incl —all of whom will lose if there’s a swing to D even close to as big as in 2018, giving Ds a majority even if Jones falls. & is up too

Warren's case for growing social welfare is very storytelling-focused: "Your neighbor who has a home health aid who comes by, and is able to stay in her home – that’s Medicaid. Your friend whose child has issues with mental illness – that’s Medicaid."

Storytelling is how we humanize public policy. It's what saved the ACA. It's what did with Jeff Flake on that elevator. It's what brought us the original Progressive movement. More please.

Can’t Trump make the same kind of deal with Democrats that he made with the dictator of North Korea? You know, the kind where he gets a handshake and photo op and the other side carries on doing whatever they want. We can even get a fake wall for him to stand by for the photos

Fact check:TSA confirmed in its statement “call outs began over the holiday period and have increased” your tweet suggesting the sick out is “non-existent” is False. CNN waited more than 2 hours for a response from TSA and did not get a response until the story printed

What if we just grew the fuck up and stopped being worried about offensive language and started focusing on the obscene behaviors that threaten everything we value in America?

The Trump administration, which had not anticipated a long-term shutdown, recognized only this week the breadth of the potential impact, several senior administration officials said. they should never be given authority to govern again. ever.

I have been saying this for almost 2 years now. I really don’t know what else has to happen before we say okay, ENOUGH. This is ridiculous. Our reps are too timid to admit what a mess we are in—we have got to take control of this situation and say ENOUGH.

If a Dem prez did a tenth of Trump's crimes/crazy pronouncements, etc wld Repub.s hesitate for a minute to impeach him? Wld they worry "how it wld look" and say "what about the backlash?" Fuck no. 'Do what you believe' beats 'Finger in the wind' with voters almost always.

This is truly amazing. The Justice Department admits that, under Trump, it effectively made up and misstated information to link immigrants to terrorism, but that it won't retract or correct the culprit report.

And, putting the onus on the landlords to show leniency is kind of crazy too—don’t landlords have bills to pay too?! People need their paychecks and when you work for your own government—you should damn well be able to count on getting it.

Donald Trump was named as a co-conspirator in a federal crime entered into judgment in the Southern District of NY in a plea deal accepted by a federal judge. Having leading elected Dems remind the American people of that daily would be a good thing. Control the narrative.

I don't get why Dem leaders are so tepid in discussing investigations. Pursuing progressive policies are expected, but will never be enacted. They'll provide contrast in 2020. What can absolutely be done w/ strength & success is oversight - & every voter asked for that. Own it.

The U.S. Constitution gives Congress the power to raise and spend money. Presidential “emergency” powers to spend money that has not been appropriated is unconstitutional. It’s the stuff of tyrants, not presidents.
