"No natural earth bs"? Okay then, how about: because it's mutilation and it violates the right of a vulnerable child to physical integrity? If you think it will benefit them, explain the benefits when they're old enough and let *them* decide.

And just because something is legal, doesn't make it right. You'd still be forcing a permanent, cosmetic, surgical procedure upon someone too young to object. You're still violating their consent.
