1) I’m running for district leader because our current ones are not meeting the needs of the people. They have all this power yet they choose to fall in line behind 3 suburban men with white collar jobs who never felt the struggles of the diverse working class in Queens.
2) That’s why they dare to endorse prematurely in a race where voters should decide. And they are doing it behind closed doors without county committee input, without doing town halls or forums to inform the voters and without any transparency.
We have to remember that in 2016 127,000 people were purged from voter rolls. In 2018, some of these leaders committed fraud by putting dead people into county committee to stifle progressive participation. And this year 2300 people’s votes were not counted.

But we can’t do that anymore. Our future is on the line. We can’t allow our party to do politics as usual and get Trump re elected. People like us have to rise up and hold them accountable. We have to run for district leader and county committee. We need to transform our party.
