We had written an alternate chorus with more melody incase we didn’t like the one we had. But we loved both parts so we made it an outro and it always sounded like a part for a female so I tricked Ivy into singing it 😉.

The Alex Vince feature came about because he had reached out to me as a fan of the band years ago just to show me his music. I was blown away and we quickly became friends over music. He also has an EP you need to check out. Now people might be thinking why is

“John Linen” actually started as a Sword Beach song. Every time I showed someone there was a big reaction. That solidified what I already thought. That this song was special. So I pitched it to the guys to make it into a Dirty Heads song. Everyone was on board.
