@directory_opus I'm expericing slow SCP performance with DO where other clients like WinSCP and Bitvise SSH are super fast. Is the implementation current?
It's not nitpicking. SCP and SFTP are very different protocols. There may still be a difference in speed between Opus and another SFTP client, but first it's vital to make sure we're comparing two things using the same protocol.pic.twitter.com/gS2ELMrVZq

Ok, good to know, thanks. I checked what protocol is being used by WinSCP. It's SFTP, too. Any idea what can cause this big transfer speed difference?

SFTP is based on SCP... when the implementation which is used by DO is old the used ciphers are, too. Transfer speed with DO: 8MB/s, WinSCP (using SFTP): 55MB/s.
