If you are a skeptic of Medicare for All, try this. Take note today of the people who come within infecting distance of you. Are you confident they all have access to the care they need to be healthy — and keep you healthy? If not, become interested in what would change that.

I wrote a thing for From his surveillance program on New York mosques to his vocal support for Republican Islamophobes, 's record shows he is just as much a danger to American Muslims as Trump.

“The battlefield” exists wherever there are Black people, Muslim people, border-crossers, & those resisting the violence of militarism. Where is the line between the ”civilian world” & “battlefield” for kids killed in school in Afghanistan or Palestine?

Ah yes these weapons should only be used to kill Afghan children, thanks for letting us know how you feel, Pete. 🙄 Despite your feelings, domestic mass shootings are deeply tied to militarism (like yours!) abroad. Resharing my piece w/ on this:

I’m running against some folks who are billionaires. I’m also running against others who aren’t billionaires, but get funding from billionaires. You cannot change a corrupt system by taking its money.

4/We, Iranians, Muslims, organizers, poc, young people, are exhausted & deserve better. Conditions even just to imagine a better world & country and actively build it through collective community organizing and people power. A Bernie presidency could give us those conditions.

3/As a community organizer, I recognize a Bernie presidency would allow for a much-needed shift in what is acceptable & normal. I rather organize in a country where Bernie’s proposed policies, rather than a watered down version of them proposed by others, would be the norm.

2/I will come out to vote for Bernie Sanders in both the primary and, inshAllah, for president, as I believe that it is under his presidency alone that our communities will have the best ability to further our battles on the ground for justice and liberation.

Sure, but this framing is dangerous: it lays groundwork for policies like the dehumanizing "Wealth Test" for immigrants that was *just* approved by the Supreme Court last week. The US admitting refugees & immigrants is not a nicety; it's an obligation of reparations.

hi on this fine may we pls permit the boo-ing war hawks like hillary clinton who voted to bomb muslim women & supports an apartheid israeli regime that bombs muslim women (among other things). Her white tears shouldn't be weaponized to silence rightful disdain.

Remember this is STILL a & anti-Muslim violence & anti-Blackness are deeply intertwined. State violence against Muslims is built atop systems that historically target Black communities & visa versa, w/Black (esp immigrant) Muslims hit particularly hard

The is a plan for sustained apartheid and injustice and must be treated as such. The Trump administration’s “deal” must be opposed. Here is our analysis:
