Cell/internet is cut in Cizre & no journalists are allowed so I can't confirm details. Town of 50K people, confined to homes for six days.

Some of the dead in Cizre included children. Newspapers reported (& had pics) that one girl's body was kept in a freezer because of curfew.

I unequivocally condemn PKK's killing of soldiers. But country still needs de-escalation. Not punishing Kurdish population. Not a good path.
