It would be much better if you’d get rid of the insane requirements to monetize a channel. I’ve been making videos for almost three years, still nowhere near what’s required to turn a profit. It’s completely unfair how you only cater to those who have already made it big.

Those who watch me say I do fine. Given my huge video count you’d expect me to have a decent following to match it. Uploading daily and consistently has done nothing. And watching help channels has done jack to assist in my growth.

Ight I’ll give you some constructive criticism. You make 30 min let’s plays with absolutely no editing and you upload them 4 times a day. Ain’t no one watching that chief, whoever told you you’re doing ok is wrong. Try to shorten them and add some spice.

No one is gonna see a video like that and want to watch it. If they do watch it, they won’t watch it for long anyways. Therefore the algorithm won’t promote your videos at ALL and you won’t grow.

You need to have the self awareness and maturity to look at your videos and say to yourself, “is this REALLY a good video?” If you don’t do that and instead blame YouTube itself, it won’t get you anywhere. Hope I could help.

My subs say they like the 30 minute long sessions. I tried doing 20 minutes and it felt short changed plus my subs didn’t like them. Also I do editing by cutting stuff out when necessary like dying in the same area repeatedly. And I upload two videos a day, not four.

Well your view:subscriber ratio says otherwise. Honestly you could also try live-streaming your let’s plays instead of recording them, it might be better

I started on Twitch before doing pre recorded stuff. I didn’t like it. Anyone can just come in and be rude plus you’re expected to play for numerous hours if you do a live stream, which I can’t do because of my hectic schedule. I also don’t know how to add wacky effects anyway.

By wacky effects do you mean editing or do you mean adding stuff to live-streams?

Doing recordings let’s me work at my own pace. A lot of other players I watch such as Materwelonz and ChristopherOdd dip into the forty and even fifty minute range with their videos and they average thousands of views each. And they usually upload daily as well.
