Firefox 59 just took baby steps towards supporting Dat, IPFS, SSB. Brave browser will soon get Dat support. Beaker browser was the 1st of its kind. 2018 is the year for a new generation of browsers. Watch carefully how other browsers react.

It's somewhat in my hands, I've been planning to factor out the relevant code from Beaker to build the Brave plugin, I've just been busy shipping Beaker 0.8.
