I want CSS scroll-snapping *and* to be able to trigger it with arrow keys. Without JavaScript. I want it all.

It'd be a spec violation not to trigger on arrow keys without JS, so...?

And that’s something spec writers surely know. Wasn’t in any docs or articles I read while trying to figure it out :(

What really tricked me is that it all implicitly assumes a statically-sized container. Was driving me bonkers until I figured that part out.

Really? Scroll snapping should have nothing to do with how a container is sized, as long as there's some overflow that needs scrolling.

Yep, I realized that ultimately was the problem. The overflow requirement wasn't obvious to me. I still think it's weird.
