I'd like to avoid them. But. On some items I needed a few days ago: Leroy-Merlin gets you delivered within 3 business weeks, in store or at home. Next day at home delivery for Amazon.

I fixed that in two ways: 1. Plan ahead and buy enough in advance from less shitty companies 2. Go without Mostly I just ended up redefining "need" to avoid giving any more money to Amazon. The list of terrible things just got too long, years ago. It was actually easy to do!

What services are you using instead?

Anyone else - there's hundreds of thousands of other companies selling stuff online. For most stuff, I try and find who made it and buy direct. Is like a rad game, where both sides win! Otherwise: Ebay, Apple, Target, Newegg, REI, Craigslist, Overstock and so many more.
