@IPFSbot the awesome-ipfs list seems to be a bit neglected. 6+month-old PRs on something as simple as text and links (no need to clone and test or do code review) is kind of discouraging.

We're looking into it! Should be easy enough to get it regularly processed!

Would be rad to have it be hooked into community somehow... each PR is posted to r/ipfs on Reddit, and if upvote/downvote ratio meets some threshold, auto-commit

That is a wonderful idea! In fact, the lack of ranking is the biggest downside of awesome lists imo. If links could be kept open for voting indefinitely on reddit, the vote counts could be periodically imported and displayed on the list's readme too.

I even went looking for a line-based Counter CRDT that would be always mergeable on github so that people could vote with pull requests (that could be triggered via API with a upvote button on http://awesome.ipfs.io ), but only found json-based, which needs custom merge strategy.

Ohhh I like that historical view idea! Yes, I am very much looking forward to nice easy-to-use CRDT pattern libraries to emerge...
