I agree that seems like a good use case for the dweb. In terms of privacy, I'd first think it through carefully, specially because of the metadata that is leaked in most decentralised networks. Often, it is fairly easy to learn who is storing and requesting access to a resource

.. even for local adversaries with few resources or curious peers. for now, I'd probably use Tor onion transport for IPFS (https://github.com/OpenBazaar/go-onion-transport …) but it is still experimental. Also, I don't think it works very well to store content
