@hypothes_is Hi! Any reason you don't have a Firefox extension? Most Chrome extensions are compatible now, often just a manifest change needed.

We have a bookmarklet which works with Firefox & other browsers. We have a FF extension in the works but we're a very small team & other work has taken precedence. In the meantime you can get our bookmarklet here:https://web.hypothes.is/start/

That disappointing. Extensions are mostly compatible across browsers now. Is the source available?

Yes, all of our code is open source and available at https://github.com/hypothesis . You could build from https://github.com/hypothesis/browser-extension … but would likely need to do some work to adapt to latest FF releases (which is one of the reasons why we haven't deployed for FF yet)

I filed a bug with my findings from doing a compatibility test: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1495888 … I was hoping there was less to do there, but still a big chunk of Chrome extension APIs that Firefox don't have support for yet :(

Yes, that’s why we haven’t been able to get this up and running despite really wanting to!
