@dietrich "Open tab in next window" would go a long way toward keeping tabs managed.
Next window? Hm, which is the next window though? I am still ruminating on the move-between-window stuff we were chatting about...

I knew you would ask me that. Next in stack. I think people would figure it out fast, because normal moves like putting two windows side by side creates a this-next ordering.

Been using a laptop so long I don't even know what it's like to put two windows side by side

Have you tried the Safari window combining feature yet on MacOS desktop? I think a Firefox feature that allowed something slightly more creative would be great. Like an open-window overview representation (titled with top tab title) where you can multi-select windows to combine.

Hm, no haven't tried it. I did recently find the OS X split-window feature, but damn if it doesn't require fullscreen... which I can't do because the animations are so jarring. Will have to try the Safari feature!

Fun: Order tabs by age or domain; find dupe tabs, close tabs in tab-list view, reload tabs in this window, search tabs (this window/all windows), show tabs playing audio, create topic in One Tab, share these tabs with *, save tabs as bookmark list.
