Oscar is right. His employees did follow policy. It's just that HIS policies suck. Buck stops right there.

Well if you listen to the people on the flight, it sounds like the United staff were rude and dismissive about it from the beginning
-
Maybe they were rude. But priority of crew over customers and the involuntary bump was United policy. Everything flowed from that sadly.
-
Exactly!
@united told the world that their employees are more important than their customers. -
Also that a company who's entire business is logistics failed to plan to get the crew where they needed to be (without bumping customers)

ha! Nothing you ever sent was even on the same planet as that email. You never would've re-accommodated a Twitter user
-
Re-accommodated is the best corporate euphemism. Eg "some of Putin's critics have been re-accommodated to the other side of the dirt"
-
Just like Wells Fargo re-accommodates bank accounts into 6 different lines of credit

this is the worst but you're crazy. Your emails were always the best. Inspiring, witty and passionate. Never tone deaf

That's appalling! Blaming the passenger. Just disgusting. -
I'd like to know why this passenger was selected for removal? No one has said but he's Chinese. Heaven help us if that's why
-
I thought of that, too. I don't want to believe that, on top of just being awful, it involves race too. But...

-
I don't believe in coincidences! United should be asked why this passenger was asked to leave.
-
I agree 100%! Their License to Transport Passengers should be SERIOUSLY re-examined.
