@dickc Will the ability to report tweets be added to the API, so that@TweetDeck@TweetBot & users of other clients can flag abuse? -
@digiphile@mathewi an API endpoint to report accounts for spam has existed in the API for a long time -

@dickc Will there be any consequences for users that repeatedly abuse the ability to flag people or tweets for abuse?http://digiphile.wordpress.com/2013/07/28/twitter-abuse-reporting-button/ … -
@digiphile Ideally, yes. the challenge is that abuse of the "report abuse" function quickly evolves to be distributed across a group -
@dickc Yep, I've seen coordinated spam flagging campaigns & their aftermath: http://digiphile.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/on-twitter-suspensions-spam-censorship-and-sopa/ … Fair to expect abuse abuse to be similar

@digiphile you haven't been paying enough attention to me, as usual. -
@dickc Don't be so sure. (I *mostly* stick around for the jokes.) Regardless, I'd be happy to give you 100% of my attention in an interview.
