The best thing to do with Scala is: don't. I am sorry it's all fucked. Work around it.

What have you moved to?
I use Haskell almost exclusively. If I have to use the JVM, use eta-lang. Scala has been banned in my work.

Scala has its problems and difficulties but almost anything does. I hope you recover from the burnout. Cheers

heh, no burnout here. Scala has more than "its problems." Ask any of those who no longer use it.
