Despite my love for Idris, the 3 are highly debatable.
1. Overloading strongly impact type error comprehension. For me, stricness by default is more painful to deal with than lazyness by default.
1bis Many other points are improvements of known Haskell issue. However, none of these points address the central point of depend types.
1ter Which is also debatable, even with the lean and "pragmatic" approach of Idris.
2. Many points target typeclasses, that are not a de facto Scala's feature. we can also discuss if some choices are not just JVM legacy.
2bis. Few of these 10 points are actually relevant in Scala.
3. I strongly dislike Scala for many points that are not on the list (multi-purpose inheritance first)
Thanks for your input :)
No prob. FYI, scala is an elaborate bait/switch. Importantly, it will never improve. Scala is explicitly disallowed in my programming team.
