I'm working in #Scala and need to modify a function. No easy way to compile a single file in sbt, so I'm waiting 3 minutes for type errors.

Nah, shit people using Scala shouldn't reflect on Scala as a language. But then I'm in the minority not respecting concept of community
Putting up with bullshit was *always* integral to scala. Trading off that for a technical advantage was the goal. Now there is no advantage.
