Have merely learned enough that I feel nauseated when dealing with languages like Go or PHP.
Don't handwrite Go or PHP. They are compile targets. Write the compiler. No more nausea.

Maybe, but it's a strictly smaller job than handwriting Go or PHP, and all the consequences that follow.
