Only thing clearly articulated there is lack of TCO. And there's a hint at slow compile times. Both mentioned in this poll or comments.

Some of them are just bugs. Bugs not being addressed for years is a great pain! But I wanted to focus on missing language features here.

OK, fast compilation is not exactly a language feature, but I wanted to see how much pain it causes relative to language features.
