      Something similar to Clojure but statically typed, I am very happy with Clojure but static types saves a lot of headaches.

      I completely agree that static types are necessary to productivity. Try Haskell. Let me know how you go.

      Actually I give a try to Haskell but Ocaml appeals more to me. So now I am into Ocaml.

      OK, keep advancing. You will eventually feel the pain of no higher kinded polymorphism (necessary) and type-classes (convenient).

          I will keep this in mind. I just don't like deal with the white space syntax, I'm trying to avoid as much pain as possible.

          Haskell has *optional* white space syntax. It's just common to choose that option.
