I apologise for ever thinking and suggesting scala was a good idea. I was wrong, and I am sorry to those who are now stuck in a rut.
I completely agree that static types are necessary to productivity. Try Haskell. Let me know how you go.

No. Akka and Spark are at the extreme end of poorly done libraries.

Actually I give a try to Haskell but Ocaml appeals more to me. So now I am into Ocaml.
