I am a non-member of the http://haskell.org committee and I have never had my voice silenced. That fact is currenty under threat.

There are times, surely, when such a determination is clear. It seems doubtful this was one such occasion.
Have you evere noticed that it's exactly those few individuals you wouldn't let near your children, who appoint themselves so?
