      they are compile-time lookup of the dictionaries containing the functions to call. So more accurately, compile-time OO.

      None of the following can implement, or emulate, type-classes. Java, C#, F#, Ocaml, C++, Smalltalk. ∴ none can do OO

      They are all just different implementations of dictionary-oriented programming, and as such have different limitations.

      So, dynamic dispatch with nominal subtyping? (and ∴ unrelated to type-classes), or pattern-matching, or? What is "not OO"?

          not OO is when the function name refers to the same function regardless of arguments or return value.
