      I don't get the argument "JS is great to start with because of the instant gratification it offers" - what is gratifying about broken code?

      I hear this argument often, but it doesn't make sense to me. When I was a beginner, I would rather had produced working code than not.

      @danclien @relrod6 Well, that is the age of my children now. They both know only Haskell, and a little bit of HTML+Javascript.
