      @mwotton Yes, it is a bad idea to not use rear brakes at all. I am tempted to prove it on every kind of tyre that exists.

      @dibblego I guess as you stop harder they become less effective, but presumably still better than nothing unless the back wheel comes up.

      @mwotton I suspect "don't use rear brake in emergency" is motivated by what has been seen on TV (motogp).

          @dibblego @mwotton is it "don't use heavy rear brake" ? I thought it was more todo with lack of control - rear sliding.
