Neither #scala nor #clojure are in the end *really* good examples of what we should be able to do with #java interop on the #jvm.

@zerology I would have liked for the #jvm to have had something as successful as #fsharp on #dotnet; unfortunately we don't have that.

@macomati @zerology Compare #fsharp and #scala and you will understand that the balance will change because of disillusionment.

@irrequietus @zerology powerful (in my opinion)..the lack of HKT and typeclasses makes of f# not so powerful for category theory and advance

@macomati @zerology for that kind of power, you need something like #haskell, #idris, #agda; #scala is not the right tool. Ask @dibblego.
