      @dickwall @jessitron overuse monads? Putting one thing after another is pretty ubiquitous; most languages reduce to a semicolon or newline!

      @nuttycom @jessitron but language support tends to bring tools like debuggers into the mix. Debugging futures, for example, can be hard
